Luna Gaia Nerello Mascalese

This gorgeous variety is indigenous to the slopes of Mount Etna, cultivated in the County of Mascali on volcanic soils. In the winery, this red was also fermented spontaneously, but using the grapes natural yeasts. The wine then underwent malolactic fermentation before 6 months ageing in bottle.

 Tasting Note: Ripe red fruits, violets, earth and dried spices. The palate is elegant and long. Pair with: A good ragu – Carpaccio of beef – BBQ brisket.
