Rebourseau, Gevrey-Chambertin

Rebourseau’s flagship cuvée, this comes from five different parcels including high-quality plots Pressonnier and Champs Chenys (which sits just below Charmes-Chambertin). There is a lot of elegant blue fruit on the nose, with blueberry dominating. On the palate, the fruit is crunchy, and the tannins are soft. There is good freshness here. The mid-palate lacks a bit of weight but it’s the elegance that carries this wine.
