Fermentation took place in open top, followed by maturation in a single three-year-old French oak cask (2700L) for 14 months.
Medium in colour density with a healthy purple edge. The nose is typical modern Hunter Valley Shiraz, wet earth, savoury characters coupled with red fruits. The palate builds slowly, upfront sweet delicate red fruits with a fine acid structure and tannins that are elegant and mouth coating.
