Irrewarra is a winemaking project by Nick Farr, the famed winemaker behind By Farr’s Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in Geelong. Maturation was in French oak barrels; one third of which were new, the remainder one- and two-years-old, where it underwent malolactic fermentation and matured for 18 months prior to bottling.
This elegant Pinot Noir has aromas of sweet and sour cherries, and complex earth and spice characters. It is a well structured wine with good acidity and fine soft tannins on the palate.
